Elizabeth Taylor-McMullen

Principal Euphonium

Elizabeth Taylor-McMullen joined the LR Winds in 2009 and is the principal euphonium. She is a former member of the Ozark Mountains British Brass Band where she played baritone as well as euphonium. She has served as a school choir director and band director.
 
Elizabeth received the Master of Music degree from the University of Central Arkansas, the Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arkansas, and is a graduate of The American School of Kuwait. While attending school in Kuwait, she had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and the Middle East to play in ensembles under Jerry Luckhardt, Anthony Maielllo, and Jerry Junkin. She studied euphonium with Royce Lumpkin, Russell Pettit, Benjamin Pierce, and Gail Robertson.
