Greg Lindstrom

Principal Tuba

Greg Lindstrom, a native of Michigan, started playing the tuba in fifth grade. And he never wanted to play anything else.
He has been the principal tuba with the LR Winds since 2005 and is a founding member of tuba quartet Basso Voce. He was a member of the Quapaw Brass Quintet for 20 years.

Lindstrom moved to Arkansas many years ago to attend Harding University in Searcy where he got a degree in mathematics. He got his masters in computational mathematics at Texas A&M University before starting work at NASA in solar physics. He currently designs software for the healthcare industry.

Through the years, he studied tuba with Leonard Falcone, Harvey Phillips, Rex Conners, and Andy Anders.
