Lori Webb Mills
Bass Clarinet
Clarinetist Lori Webb Mills is a founding member of the LR Winds, originally playing the Bb-clarinet. She was also a member of the 106th Army Band and in 2007 transitioned to Arkansas Army National Guard Active Duty Status, thus leaving the LR Winds for many years. But after military retirement from 29 years in uniform (and the end of the COVID-19 shutdown), she returned to LR Winds in 2021 to play the contra-bass and contra-alto clarinets.
Lori is the adjunct clarinet professor for Arkansas State University, Beebe Campus, and teaches a large clarinet studio for the Cabot School District. She is a former band director for the Pulaski County Special School District and the Little Rock School District.
She received her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Central Arkansas and will graduate with her Master of Music Education in May 2025.
