Susan Detrick

Susan Detrick has been a member of the LR Winds horn section since 2009. She has performed with the Fort Smith Symphony, Toledo Symphony, and Mansfield Symphony, and frequently performs with church orchestras in Fort Smith and central Arkansas. She is also a member of the North Little Rock Community Concert Band.

A native of Ohio, Susan has a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from Bowling Green State University where she studied horn with Herb Spencer.

After finishing school in Ohio, Susan followed her family to Arkansas and has been an elementary general music specialist in public schools in Yell County, Pope County, and Pulaski County.
